The Hamdel Futurist Collaborative is a living space for shared imagination, a gathering of artists, activists, archivists, and organizers working across borders, movements, and identities. Derived from the Persian “همدل” (Hamdel) — meaning “of one heart” — it reclaims kinship as a radical practice, building connections that defy erasure, division, and segregation. Here, the archive becomes an act of collective care, and “creative disobedience” a language of resistance and future imaginations, a way to remember together, to embody otherwise. Rooted in feminist and Indigenous principles and a spiritual ethic of “constructive resilience”, Hamdel cultivates mutual networks of reciprocity, responsibility, and repair, where creative care is not sentiment but structure — a living method of healing, survival, and collective becoming.
